Project Summary

Supporting-infrastructure construction for a utility-scale photovoltaic plant, including internal access roads, inverter-station foundation zones, cable-trench restoration, and logistics hardstand works under dry-windy desert conditions.

The Chile photovoltaic plant supporting-infrastructure project was located in a dry and windy environment with frequent fine dust and large day-night temperature differences. Construction covered internal road systems, equipment hardstands, inverter-station surrounding works, and trench backfill compaction for power-collection lines.

Compared with conventional municipal projects, this site required stronger adaptability in long-haul operation, quick maintenance turnover, and stable compaction quality over large repetitive zones. Huiteng provided a practical mix of compact rollers, plate compactors, and concrete processing equipment to support parallel teams working across distributed fronts.

The contractor implemented a milestone-driven plan tied to PV block commissioning priorities. Our equipment package supported high daily utilization while keeping failure downtime low, helping the EPC team maintain synchronized progress between civil works and electrical installation milestones.

By project handover stage, key supporting roads and infrastructure zones were completed in line with target quality and timeline, providing reliable conditions for module transport, inverter maintenance access, and subsequent plant operation. The client recognized the solution for balancing durability, maintainability, and construction efficiency in renewable-energy infrastructure delivery.
